This map shows AJ's new location. Given the number of times he has moved, he almost qualifies for the title of "Traveling Elder." |
Envelope Address:
Elder Alan Hatch, II 12-10-07 Mom and Dad, So sorry I have not written sooner with my new address. I have been way under the weather. On Wednesday at 2:00 am, I threw up dinner (a piece of FATTY pork steak that was 98% fat--I went to cut it and it would just tear the fat apart, but I had to eat it because they are pretty poor, so I just did it) all over the floor in our room. After I cleaned that up, I slept on the couch and at 5:30 am I threw up in the kitchen sink, then again four or five other time that day. I have been pretty much out of commission since then. I hung this lady's Christmas house lights. I was on the second story roof. I am not going to lie; it was scary. I almost fell a couple of times. If it had not been directed by the Spirit, I would have called it off a long time before then. But, the Spirit told me to go and do it, so if I had fallen it would have been His fault because He told me to go and do. In spite of being sick, we had four people at church, so that is good. I am way happy with that. I should have 5 or 6 baptisms this transfer, so I am so excited. I am in a car/bike area. We have car for 3½ days a week, and bike the rest. My new companion has only been out three months. I am greeny busting him. I am not excited about that because he does not have a clue what he is doing but thinks he knows how to cure cancer. Oh, how the tables have turned. Well, I am off to talk about Jesus! Love you. Love, Elder Alan Hatch II Post Script: I still do not feel any better, but the work goes on and plus, Satan does not sleep or get sick days, so I must work!
