Dad and Mom,

Well, I got midnighted (transferred in the middle of the normal 6 weeks. The AP (Assistant to the President) called and said, "Pack your stuff, you and Elder Ericson are getting transferred in the morning." So, we packed up and updated the area books because we were over 2 wards in Alderwood.

Wow! Let me tell you, I thought 3 hours of church and 45 minutes of choir was hard. But here we had 6 hours of church and 30 minutes to 1 hour of meetings with local ward leaders. I have only been that tired once before in my life. But, you do what you have to do.

It was good to get away from Elder Ericson, because he was going home and that made me want to go home. Now I am in Bothell and I love it here. My new companion's name is Elder Stephans. He is a really cool person. We have gotten along so well. Everything is going so well. Our personalities are so similar that it is crazy. I have been here three days and I have had so much fun and gotten to the point where I like, or enjoy, tracting. We have so much fun with it.

So, don't worry about the letters you and others have sent to previous addresses. They will catch up with me someday.

The only problem we have is we are in a walking area and in the past three days the temperature has not risen above 40°F, and (well, let me say this in a nice way) I love the cold but walking 10 + miles a day in it is not fun. Plus, it snowed so it is messy everywhere, and the roads are icey. But, I guess that is what a mission is all about.

I love you and hope all is well and that you are safe.

I love you.
Elder Hatch
