Dad and Mom,

Well, life is just on the move. It never stops. I am getting better at managing money. I still have $40 or so dollars for the rest of the month. I am excited about that!

We had Elder Mikleson from the 1st Quorum of the 70 come and speak to us for like 5 hours. It was a way long meeting, one of the longest zone conferences I have ever been to. But, I learned a lot and how I need to focus more on baptizing people because that is my job. He also stressed how President Hinckley wanted to double convert baptisms, so we need to step it up. I need to work harder, I guess.

This morning my companion and I were driving to pick up the other Elders in our district and we were not late or anything, but for some reason he thought it best to drive 50 mph in a 35 mph zone, and as luck would have it, a motorcycle cop was waiting just around the corner. Ten minutes and $132.00 later we were on our way again. He is not a happy person as of now. He is actually kind of bitter about it. But, the temple was fun, or at least I enjoyed it.

Have you decided where you are going to be on Mother's Day? My suggestion is going to like Mia's or Nathen's and be in a central location so I can talk or they can listen to a missionary talk, because no one in Washington wants to. Maybe my own family will listen. But, do what you think is best. [Ed. note: If any one is interested in coming to Oracle to talk to AJ on Mother's Day, let me know soon and I will schedule his call accordingly.]

I love you both. I can't believe I get to talk to you in three weeks and 3 days. Wow!

Have a good week.
Love, Elder Alan Hatch II.
P.S. What did you decide about my memory stick?
