Dad and Mom,

Well, I am not too excited. We awoke this morning to a winter wonderland. This state is very deceiving. The last 7 or so days have been 65 degrees or higher. Then yesterday it clouds up and is raining like crazy (normal Washington weather [rain]). But this is out of the question. Now we have to spend the whole day walking. Mom, you were right. I am not liking the snow (or at least walking in it is too much work).

So, you bought another camera? Well, I guess it is flower season again so you will be taking pictures of them again.

Our baptism we had for the 24th fell through, so we dropped him for the next 3 weeks. That way he can feel the absence of the Spirit. So we will pick him back up soon. Another one of our baptisms went back to jail for three months, so he is dropped, I guess. The other one said she would come to us. She just too stubborn to change. She has been Catholic for 68 years or so, but we have not given up. Our teaching pool went from 3 down to 0, and I am a little taken aback by the sudden shift, but I will survive.

I have officially hit my 5 month mark. This morning I made biscuits and gravy. It was way good. I think my companion concurs.

Well, that is the update from Washington. Tune in next week for more news. Love you.

Love,
Elder Alan Hatch II

Post Script: Are you done with the memory card for my camera?
