The lad seems to be prospering in his calling. Lets hope it lasts. Note the "energy drinks" behind him on the shelf.

Mom and Dad,

Sounds like you had a busy weekend. I wish I would have been there to help you pick grapes. That was always fun as a kid, even in the extreme heat.

So, someone new moved into our ward??

You said Sabrina has grass in her back yard, along with a water fountain. That must be pricy to run. I know the one at Nonna Maria's was expensive to run, but whatever floats your boat!

So, it is not that I need the energy or am addicted to them (energy drinks), it's just that they taste good. If you don't think I should drink them I won't. What do you think? So, you never said if they were bad for you. Are they? They taste good, and I like them.

Anyway, the baptism did not go down this weekend, but will tomorrow at 4 pm, if you want to come. I am really excited because I love baptisms. Baptizing is my job, and love making the Lord happy, and He is happy when one of his children gets baptized. I love my job. I am doing well up here. All is going well. I can't believe how fast the transfer is going. It is week 5 of 6 and I don't want this transfer to end because I love my companion and he is probably going to be zone leader.

Hey, Elder Hinkeley, the son of the Prophet, is coming tomorrow to talk to the mission. We will see if it is another five-hour meeting. I hope not, that's for sure.

Hey Dad, could you find me Nathan Cluff's address so I can write him and get him on a mission!

Have you heard any news about Steve Reed?

Well, I love you and miss you both. Love, Elder Alan Hatch II
Post Script: Thanks a ton for the stamps. Love you tons. :)
