Mom and Dad,
Well, I am going good, I think. I am working hard and our two baptisms we had scheduled went down, so by week two we met our standards. On Saturday the 8th we have another one planned and then on the 14th we have two more planned, and on the 28th we have two more planned. That is seven baptisms in six weeks, and there could be more--who knows? I am loving it because I think I got lost in the work. This transfer is flying. I can't believe it is almost week four. Wow! Time flies when you work hard. Maybe I will do that for the next sixteen months. What do you think?

So, lets see, President Shuwalters is from Utah, where he worked for Wells Fargo Bank. He is not going to change anything until he feels ready and feels he should. We had interviews today and I forgot to ask about email. I think we will allow it, but not for a while (three or so months, I think).

No one feeds because they live so far away and don't want to drive all that distance. Our ward is pretty spread out. Oh well, I can cook.

Wow! The whole house is moved around. I can't believe it. It will be so weird.

I wish I could have been there to help Dave and Keith (with scout camp), but I am doing the Lord's work so I guess I can miss two scout camps.

I got a letter from the Y.W. and that is encouraging to have the ward support.

Dad, do you tell my mission stories in fast and testimony meetings? I heard you did.

I am catching up with my D&C dash, so don't worry about that.

That is no good about your retirement plan. Well, it is time for me to go to bed, so I will talk to you later.
I love you and miss you.

Love, Elder Alan Hatch II
