Mom and Dad,

Well, I guess I should start by saying I can't believe I have not written back in a month. It seems like every day I get a letter from you Dad. But then I go back and look at the dates and I find it has been weeks. I just can't seem to keep up.

I am doing well. Yesterday we had Zone Conference. On the Missionaries last one, they are asked to get up and bare their testimony, so I got the chance to get up and take a stab at it. But now it is starting to set in that life is getting ready to change. But it is all good because life is full of change. You known something is wrong when your life stops changing. So, that is a very good sign I must be doing something right.

As for the work, we are getting ready to put Robin on date. She is getting really close, so that is really good. I am very excited for her.

So, as far as my new companion, his name is Elder Wright and he has been out for 14 months. He is from Laurel Maryland and he plays the piano. That is about it, but he is a fun kid. I love him. He is the youngest of four. His Dad works for the Department of Defense. He went to BYU Idaho for a year before he came out.

Well, I hope all is well. I can't wait to see you and catch up on life. Talk to you soon. Take care. Love ya. Elder Alan Hatch, II

But he will be landing shortly...
