Mom and Dad,

Well not much is going on in my part of the world. All I know is I am going to have to go through a lot of my crap and leave a ton of it here. Really, I don' know how much stuff I have, I can't tell. I am not sure I am going to bring all my (white) shirts home. I just don't need 6 shirts or 2 pairs of slacks. But what do you think? I would like to know your thoughts on the matter!

As for the work, I have one on date and 2 more who are close. I am sure I will baptize Sarah on the 2nd and that will be way sweet. The other 2 could go either way. I hope they go down this transfer, but for sure they will next transfer.

I am doing well, I am hanging in there. Every day is a new challenge, but I am ding my best to stay focused. Almost every night at dinner someone will ask me how much time I have left and sometimes it is hard to refocus. But, I manage.

So, you are entitled to one more letter after this one and then I will see you, so there is no need to write.

Well, I am out of things to say, so I will talk to you later. Take caer of yourself and I will see you soon. Love, Elder Alan Hatch.

The not too distant future holds a real "close-up."
