I seem to be overwhelmed when it comes to creating ordered arrays of 1's and 0's (the electronic equivalent of putting pen to paper) lately. These images are from the numerous holiday visits we enjoyed, even if at this point, they seem just a distant memory.

Since most of these pictures are self evident (and I'm told most people don't read the text anyway), I am going to be brief. This is me with Abbie and Makenzie (an interesting spelling, but one that Barbara assures me is correct).
Sabrina came with a stocking cap that reached the floor. Maybe she confused it with a stocking to hung by the fire with care...
As you might surmise from the shirt, Ethan is a fan of the, "Cars" movie. I think maybe we ought to have him examined by someone specializing in metabolism. There is simply no way he can survive/thrive/prosper on the amount of food he consumes.
Barbara enjoyed the grandbabies. Grandmothers are funny that way...
Terre is into board games, so perhaps this was appropriate...
Even Symantha managed some baby contact time.
Braxton saw the light...
If Kyle and Ethan don't become proficient chefs, it won't be for lack of exposure. They helped with every dish.
Matching aprons for Sabrina and Cub. Maybe she will also learn to cook (she, being Cub).
Even Wyatt wanted to hold the baby. And he thinks he isn't going to have any more...
Athen is one of the happiest kids that have come around here in quite some time.
Makenzie is at the stage where she is quite photogenic.
Jon and Lindsay drove down. Lindsay, in particular, was looking forward to three days of driving to get them home.
La Rena probably came the furtherest (though Jon and Lindsay are a close second), and Symantha stayed the shortest time. Isn't having to work for a living the pits?
I beleive Jon is the heaviest I have ever seen him. He may have even broken 100 lbs.
Daniel has changed alot since our last encounter.
And so has Kaleb. He also appears to have grown camera shy. With Daniel's new camera, I suspect that may change.
Judging from this image, Wyatt may may be missing some key nutrients from his diet. How many other people do you know eat raw lizards?
Cub liked the carmel corn, almost as much as her grandmother.
The installation of the duct work for our AC/heating unit continues. I special ordered this from a shop in Tucson. Jim kindly offered to loan me his truck to transport it home, then unwisely bet me I couldn't get it all in my car. Pay up, Jim!
Although I hate to admit that my short term memory is not reliable, I forgot a loaf of bread rising over the stove's well. It had grown to the point that at least half of the dough was out on the stove top. Upon seeing it, I decided to throw it out, so I stuffed it back in the pan and started to walk it outside. Then my frugality circuits kicked in and, more on a whim than anything else, I stuck it in the already pre-heated oven. What a mess! Parts were too light from rising too long and parts were extremely dense from being deflated immediately prior to baking. By far, this is the ugliest loaf I have ever created, but--it was eventually eaten (even Barbara partook of a slice without knowing it).
