DADDY IS HOME

With much ado daddy came home on the 13th of September after 15 month away. He was thrilled to be home and aware of the time it would take to readjust to civilian life. I on the other hand thought it was the perfect opportunity to take him to a Reba concert around lots of people. It was our 5 year anniversary after all on the 14th. We had a wonderful time and Jon was only mildly uncomfortable (so he tells me).

Of course the children are overjoyed and Daniel does not give Jon a moment of peace. I don't think he minds.

Daddy emptied his bags and Daniel was quick to show his dad how much he wanted to be just like him.
I am still working at the px for HP. It is actually working out well. I make my own hours and with Jon home the boys are never in child care and that makes me happy. a little extra cash doesn't hurt either.
all and all we seem to be back in sync.

Kaleb is being himself and being a bit stubborn, but gladly sits on his daddy's lap and kisses and hugs him.

Jon doesn't even realize the huge amount of trust it takes for kaleb to be so warm, and loving to anyone. right Barb? :cP

Jon has acquired and X-box 360 and is having the time of his life "reintegrating"

I included both of these pictures because taking your own family photo is some what difficult with out a timer(or at least one we could figure out) and some one kept getting cut out or blocked.

Kaleb and Daniel are both in little gym. kaleb is in a mommy and me class and is working very hard to be the most active and least directable child there. so far he is accomplishing his directives. he has begun to refer to himself as bub bub, I can only assume it is a mix between bruder (Daniel's version of "brother") and his name. Either way it is adorable and I too have begun to use the nick name.
Daniel is in soccer, a sports class at little gym, and pre-school. we keep this little fire cracker moving all the time. He is thriving with all the activity. soccer is Wednesday and Friday night with a day game on Saturday, sports class in of Thursday, and pre-school is on Monday, Wednesday, and friday.so he does get 2 days off, but no consecutively. LOL! so far he is loving it and it has been helping him all around. Poor kid gets bored.

As you can imagine with the kids schedules, work, and Jon being home life is busy but wonderful.

all our love
The WHOLE Gatlin family
