Hello once again. Life here in Tulsa drives ever forward. Carson is starting to be more awake and it is fun to watch how fast changes from new born to infant in looks.

The sun was out and I took advantage of it and placed Carson to get some sun. He was not as amused as one might have thought. If a picture is worth a thousand words then this one would say, "WHY is everybody always picking on me?"

Lauren is a good big sister, always there to give Carson what ever she deems he needs at the time. Here she is trying to roll him over.

Does Zeke not look like the picture perfect Dad, ready for what ever is going to happen?

Lauren thinks, as of late, that life should be spent with as few cloths on a possible. Last month she wanted to wear three or four of one item of clothing and this month it is nothing at all.

Since bringing Carson home, Lauren's vocabulary has tripled in size, and along with that has come an attitude! Before I would ask her to do something and she usually did it. The other day I asked her to shut the door and she looked at me and said, "hum no, no." Oh, the good old days!

Usually she is very helpful though, here she is acting as a coach as Carson does "tummy time."

Monkey see monkey do!

I tried my hand at making Carson some church outfits. The first one came out well, as far as looks, but was not functional. The directions stated to make the opening in the back go past the waist line I thought that was unnecessary until I tried to put him in the outfit and found that there was not enough room for his torso to wiggle in while his arms went in the sleeves. I also found that the polyester that I made the outfit out of was bulky and so back to the drawing board I went.

Second outfit was much better and so I made Lauren a matching dress. However I completed Carson's outfit on Tuesday and Sunday when I tried to place it on him I found he had grown to long for it. Alas, I made him wear it anyway.

I walked in the room after telling Lauren multiple times not to jump on the couch next to Carson, only to find her doing just that. When I asked her if she was, she looked innocently at me and said "NO!"

Carson LOVES the bath and as soon as he is in the water he is out! Even with Lauren handing him toys or wash cloths he sleep right through it. Yes I know I am SPOILED!

As an update this is what our Avocado plant looks like. I sure has big leaves for such a little stock.
Hope this finds everyone doing well.

Love ya,

Zeke, Mylinda, Lauren and Carson Ellis
