HI there long time no talk with. Let me just give you all a quick up date on all that is going on here in Germany. Zeke is at BNOC in Fort Eustis Virginia. He is there so that he can be promoted to E-6 Staff Sergeant. He has to take that course before he can be promoted. He will be there until May 5 2005, which works out well as he will be home just in time for my Birthday. He is doing well is top of his class. Says he isn't learning too much but we are able to talk on a regular basis. I'm doing well. Thursday the 10th of March was my final for my Bio class that I was taking. On Saturday I will be doing my last lab for this Term. We will be cutting apart a rat, worm, star fish, and a mouse. It should be a good time. I'm glad that school is over and that I will have more time to do primary things. I have also been asked to go to camp which will be in Switzerland this year. Don't know if I will be able to do it but would really like to go. I'm really looking forward to that.
Last weekend I went to Italy on a shopping trip. It was a really good time went with some friends and found these really cute salad bowls that are all leaves. I really liked them. It took us nine hours to get down there and we spent the day shopping and then came home that evening.
All was going well until we went down this switch back. It looked some thing like the Salt River canyon. We went down to the bottom ok but coming up the other side we were having to stop and back up as we didn't fit around the corners. Most of the bus was a sleep and it was roughly 12:00am we came up around one corner and had to stop to back up. Now it has snowed here in Hanau everyday for the last three weeks mine you. The road condition down there was icy and not all the good for driving. We started to slide down the road. It sounded like we hit something (still not sure if we did or not) well everyone woke up and started to panic about the condition that we were in. One lady started to scream and then the children on the bus started to cry. So the announced that everyone was to get off the bus. I was not going to put my shoes and get off the bus. SO I stayed on with some other people. Well there was about ten of us out of fifty on this bus. The bus started to slide again the driver tried to get us up the hill well all he could do was spin the tires. All the people out side of the bus are sliding around and some even fell. Everyone gets back on the bus and we spin the tires for a little longer. The women behind us were pretty sure that we were going to die. We got un-stuck backed up into some Germans yard and then found some one to show us how to get back to the Auto bahn. The second buss driver did get on the bus with some thing that looked like a part of bumper but I can't be sure. We made it home in Fourteen hours. So the trip back wasn't so good but I had a good time over all.
There were also Petcocks in Italy I was surprised. So I took picture of them. The Peacock is on top of the house. They might be hard to see but I'm sure that you all can make do.

So that was the weekend. Then Yesterday I was going to go and check the mail. One of the ladies at work asked if I would take her with me. I told her sure not a big deal. I thought about it and decided that I would take the Mini instead of the truck. I was right out side of the post where I check the mail. I was following an MP. (Military police) He must have not seen me because he put on his light and in the same instance made a U turn in the middle of the road. Well I locked up the brakes and went off the side of the road to miss hitting him. I'm glad I was in the Mini because I would have hit him in the truck, and we just got it fixed from the last accident. Well he went on his way and I drove on post. I couldn't believe that he just left but I guess he had places to go. My co-worker and I were commenting about how even MP's can't drive when a soldier walked up to us and asked if I dove the Mini. I replied "yes" and he went on to say that he didn't see me and was really sorry that caused me to run off the road. I told him that it was ok he was in an SUV so I'm not surprised that he didn't see me. So that is twice this week I have almost been in an accident both times with a lady from work. Needless to say I told her I would not be going any where else with her. Ha ha.

The sun was shinning I was almost in shock when I went out side to walk to work and saw the sun rising. It seems like forever ago that I saw it last. I thought that Dad was silly for being so excited when summer came, but I now understand. I can't wait for summer I feel like I have been locked up in the house for ever I want to get out and go riding bikes. There are so many things to do and so little time to do anything. There aren't AC units here in Germany but I love to be out side there are so many markets and fests to go to in the summer. There is a medieval fest here that I want to go to this summer we will see if I do it. Well hope this finds you all doing well.
Love and Miss you Zeke and Mylinda Ellis
