Dear friend and family, Well I tried my hand at cutting Carson's hair. I was really happy with how easy it was and the final product. I'm sure that most of that result is that when it is less than an inch there is not much room for mess ups. |
For Halloween although it was months ago was lots of fun. Carson was a bat, Lauren a ladybug and I was Lauren's rejected butterfly. She wanted to be a butterfly until we went to get the material for her dress and she saw the ladybug material. Which is funny as she has been a ladybug 3 of her 4 Halloweens, oh well. |
It has been unusually warm here so we have made the most of it and done many trips to the zoo. Lauren is more than happy to sit and pose. |
Just about anywhere you put her. |
Carson not as impressed with the whole situation. |
While at the zoo Lauren rode the caracole and LOVED IT! Carson slept through that part of the trip. |
He was won over when we went to the park in the zoo that has a train to climb on. |
Lauren also enjoyed climbing all over, but part her favorite part was a pink slide. |
We also rode a train around the zoo and Carson was really excited about that. He loves trains, planes and automobiles. |
As we left the zoo there are some statues of tigers Lauren was more than happy to sit on one but would not open her eyes, Carson had no interest in going anywhere near them... at all. |
Shortly after it finally turned cool and I had taken the kids to a park to take their photos and the poor things froze. However I have trained them well and I came home with so cute photos. Lauren's teeth were chattering. |
The kids have already learned to annoy the other, and Lauren may have it down to a science. All she has to do to get Carson to scream is say "bubble gum 1, 2, 3." I am not sure why but he really does not like it and is more than happy to tell you so. |
Lauren is still dong the preschool and really looks forward to it. Carson loves to do what ever Lauren is doing. He is starting to talk very clearly--that is, when he does not have a pacifier in his mouth. |
As I took this picture Carson was yelling "watch me mom! Watch me!" He is a funny little man. |
When he takes a bath and we get into our PJ's he insist of having Q-tips so he can put them in his ears like the photo and walk around. |
After all the pictures at the park I even talked Zeke into taking this one. I took two. In the first I was not sitting for so I redid it and this is what I got. I was really impressed at how easy it was to get a family photo. YEAH! |
I had asked Carson if I could take his photo and he was hamming it up. |
Not to be out done by her brother Lauren is a ham with attitude. She found her goggles and insisted on sleeping in them. |
We had Thanksgiving at my house with Lauren's best friend and her family. The little girl's name is Libby and they are attached at the hip, never mind the fact we see each other 4-5 days a week. They are so cute together. |
After everyone left I made the phone calls to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving and Lauren took 108 photos. This was one of the only ones that was not of her blanket. |
When we put Lauren to bed she will request different things to sleep with. She has taken unopened bottles of medicine, shampoo, and many other odd things. I think this maybe my favorite. She asked to sleep in the bumbo, which is a infant seat that is made of rubber and foam. Oh, to be little and be able to sleep anywhere. |
The day after thanksgiving we put up the tree the kids has such a good time helping. Carson told Lauren where to put things and if Lauren approved of the location she did just that. |
Hope you all have a great holiday season. Love and Miss you!!! Zeke, Mylinda, Lauren, Carson Ellis |
