Hello to everyone!

As it is a new month I thought I should update you all on the happenings here in T-town. We once again went out to the aquairium, however when I take the photos they turn out like this. Zeke and his mom took the kiddos when I was at school and you saw in the last letter how they looked.

Carson and Lauren are now at the age where they play well... some times together. They are both going through the copying stage and this is amusing because neither one can decide who is more dominate to copy. Sometime it is Carson and Lauren will crawl around and act like him other days it is Lauren and Carson mimics her.

Lauren has defiantly decided that she has a style all her own and likes to express it. I am going to tell you that she could not have fit any more flowers in her hair even if she wished it!

Last weekend we had 70 degree weather and took full advantage of it and went out walking. Lauren however insisted we should not walk on the road because we would get "run overed and get an owie like Duke." I assured her that we would be safe in the stroller. Upon coming home this is how the kids felt about the adventure.

Later that afternoon after opening some late Christmas presents and trying them on, it was unusually quite in the house and I went to investigate. Carson thought that he needed to brush his teeth and did not want to bother anyone be asking for help. His Dad was super excited that his toothbrush was easiest to get to.

Another one of Lauren's fashion statements is to wear multiple layers of underwear or outerwear. In this picture she has on 10 pairs of underwear and 5 pairs of PJ's. I suspect if she were a heaftier looking child then this is what she would look like.

Carson has taking to the cat now that Duke is gone. He is gentle for the most part, but she is not impressed!

Next I have to tell you all that we received 14inches of snow the first day of Feb. Yes, Zeke picked a poor birthday wish of snow. It was something to see as the trees had no accumulation. Even the cars and roof tops had minimal buildup. Carson was tall enough to see over the snow but that is about it.

Lauren did better but found that it is easier to crawl through instead of walking. There were drifts of almost two feet, lots of FUN!

However the strangest phenomenon occurred the cars seemed to create some kind of a barrier to detract the snow from getting to close. I was grateful as it was easier to dig out.

The front of the house did something similar, but did not have the same magic power and was less successful.

Zeke shoveled the walk... on his birthday too, poor guy. Lauren was a super helper and knocked snow back on to the path.

I with Zeke's helped shoveled the drive way. The snow had not frozen so it was pretty easy.

I am however getting older and a sign of such occurrences was the sore muscles the next day. I had muscles that I had forgot I had, but was reminded the next morning. Snow is such fun!

We had cake for Zeke's birthday lucky for him he wanted a cake that I had all the ingredients here at the house for. I also made enchiladas, which I did not particularly like. I ate them though, because Lauren was eyeballing me to make sure that if she had to eat them then so did I.

We woke this morning to... yep more snow! It has snowed all day and we have another system moving through this weekend. Hooray!! Zeke did not have to work at all this week so that was nice to at least get to hang out here at the house. On a side note we are having our carpet installed this next week!!!! I'm so happy!!!!!

Miss you

Zeke, mylinda, Lauren, Carson Ellis
