Hi there to everyone
Life in Tulsa has been busy. About three weeks ago (or maybe four) we had an ice storm here. Now for those of you that aren't familiar with that term, it refers to a conditions where instead of rain or snow falling from the sky, ice falls. Needless to say it caused some damage here and in the surrounding areas. Zeke's mother was without power for two weeks. The telephone pole out side her house fell and ripped the power box off the outside of her house. Well, being the good and dutiful children that we are, we headed on up to see how she was doing. (And to give back her vehicle that we borrowed for two weeks (8 weeks ago) since my truck is running we didn't need hers anymore.) I was amazed when we got there. It was like someone had knocked all the tops off the trees. No, I didn't get any pictures. We spent the whole weekend cleaning trees limbs out of the road and off fences. I managed to do something to my wrist (left) and have been in pain since then. Other than that, Zeke and I are doing well.

I cut my bangs and so far so good. Then nice thing about bangs is you can wear them down, or not. They seem to be working out.

So, as I was saying, yes my truck is running again, execpt now the carburator is acting up. It is always something. Zeke seems to be enjoying working on it.

School is still going for Zeke, and he (like always) is doing really well. As for Mylinda it is going, but not always as well as it could be. Mylinda did however attend a radiology course this weekend and thinks she did well on the test. We will find out the results in a couple of weeks. She had to drive about 2hrs from Tulsa for the course. It was suppose to be an 8 hr course, but the instructor completed it in only 5. None of the students complained.

Our cat thinks she is the queen of the house, and outside as well, until she gets out there. She was wanting out side the other day so we let her out. Zeke was working on my truck.
The cat was outside and running free until she came up to a tree and noticed a squirrel up in it. She started to stalk the squirrel. As soon as the squirrel saw her he started barking (it sounds like he is clucking, and we thought a neighbor had chickens until we actually saw the squirrel clucking). Well, that didn't scare the cat, and she continued the hunt for her prey. Then the squirrel ran into a hole in the tree, and the cat thought that she had won until the squirrel came out and started throwing things at her. She promptly turned and high tailed it to the safely of the house.

I hope this letter finds you all doing well! Dad hope you are over the illness.

Love you guys
Mylinda and Zeke Ellis
PS this is a four strand braid (look closely).

ps our cat is loved, and Pipers bib was run through safely test before she got it.
