Hello once again, this last weekend I took the kiddos and ventured down to Nathen and Terre's house and was timed it just so that I picked up Karren and Jim on the way at the Little Rock airport. It was really great to go and visit, as usual when family gathers we ate and cleaned up.

And it was also nice to be able to have others watch your kids. Karren was great at holding anyone who was in need.

Nathen and Terre are living the high life complete with trampoline. All the kids enjoyed jumping and adults were happy to watch. I was really surprised that Rachel and Lauren were not upset in the least to be bounced and accepted that they did not stand for long periods while on the trampoline as the boys would jump and knock them down. I do suspect that perhaps as this happens when ever the little ones were on the trampoline that they thought it was how it goes and never questioned it. Or perhaps they are more enlightened then I and found it less work to sit and be bounced then to actually jump themselves. However they had a grand time.

Ethen and Kyle conned Karren into jumping with them. She did a marvelous job and pleased the boys greatly by obliging them with high bounces.

Lauren and Rachel were my favorite to watch because they kept falling and the static electricity would cause their hair to stand on end.

This picture captures it perfectly. It was lots of fun to see the similarities and differences between Lauren and Rachel. Rachel loves to ask "How and Why" questions, where as Lauren's vocabulary is not that big but both girls loved to be read to and so many disagreements were settled with a book.

The cousins were all sitting on the couch and I could not resist taking a picture. Lauren had a great time playing with Rachel and I think was happy to have someone here own size to hang out with. She seems some what lost when Rachel would take naps. She even tried to play with Kyle but was disappointed when she tried to chase him and he was not interested and did not even find it funny like Rachel had.

Both girls adored Carson and I think that the transition to the new addition to their family will be an easy one for Rachel. Both girl insisted that Carson have his pacifier with him at all times. And if one kissed Carson the other one had to do the same. There were many time were I had to stop them because they would go one after the other for several minutes. Carson was tolerant for a time but soon found that the slobber that came from the kisses were not to his liking.

The boys were trying some turkey jerky that Karren brought.

Nathen was even kind enough to take a picture of a half of a lemon and one of me. So I had to add it even though it is kind of a silly picture. As far as the trip Lauren and Carson did splendidly! The way going they were perfect until about thirty minutes out side of Little Rock I stopped and fed Carson and as I pulled into the airport Karren called to say they were out side waiting so the timing was perfect. The trip home was very similar. The kids slept until we got to Little Rock and then Carson went to sleep as soon as we dropped Karren and Jim off and did not make a peep until we were right out side of Tulsa. Lauren had some miner complaints but no major break downs and I came straight home with out stopping. It was completely different then our trip last year. I am glad that Terre and Nathen put up with us and we had a great time visiting with them.
Hope you all are doing well.

Love ya,

Zeke, Mylinda, Lauren and the boy.
