Hi there! So there have been several events since my last News Letter, First there was an azalea festival that the kiddos and I went to. We had a great time walking around the weather was perfect. |
Carson was not as pleased as Lauren to pose for this photo but he let us get some good shots before he complained. |
Lauren is becoming her own person and doesn't like to do everything that I ask of her. I think we took about 15 pictures on this bench and this is the best of the bunch. |
Again try as we might Lauren isn't looking at the camera. I guess the lesson learned is be thankful that she is looking up at all. |
There were ducks that Lauren could not resist chasing around. After many failed attempts to get her to stop this was the end result a dirty bum and some hurt feelings. |
We took off the pants and shoes and she played in the water feature. In Tulsa there are many water pads. It works by just touching a pole and the water come out in different areas for about 15 minutes. They vary in sprays and some have pipes that pour the water from above rather then out of the ground. The best part is they are free and are all over Tulsa and surrounding area. Lots of fun, of course there were some parent who did not want wet kids who I'm sure they did not appreciate our continually turning on the water. |
We have been out trying to get our garden ready, and have discovered that we have nothing but clay in the back yard. So after adding the nutrients that the soil lacks and some much needed sand I think that we will have spent more in preparing the garden then it could ever produce this year. However, be that as it may, I will have a garden and it better grow something!!! |
It has been so nice out that we have gotten sever cute picture in the back yard. |
It is the general census here that Carson looks just like Zeke and Lauren looks like me. I don't know if I agree, however they are both good kids and I am blessed to have them. |
Carson is very easy going and even laughs when he is mauled by his sister. |
Lauren is a great helper with Carson, but I now know where the saying "loved to death" comes from. She is a good little mom and tried to make sure his every need it met. She is always telling me "mommie baby crying." She even makes sure to tell me no less then five time that he is crying even though I assure her I know. |
The two little ones hanging out on the couch. |
Lauren came in the other day with a tick. The first one for her, it was fine for about three days then she ran a fever and her lymph nodes behind her ear swelled. After several Dr. office calls the final thought was that it was fine as long as the lymph nodes did not swell to be golf ball size. So not to bad but on a side note I apologize to Terra for telling her that she won't have to worry about ticks and the like there-of. Two days after Lauren's fever Zeke came in with a tick on him so we went and bought tick killer for the grass. |
Easter came here and we had a good time Lauren while not understanding why she was out side picking up eggs was more then pleased to find that they had candy in them and now tries to open any and all containers to make sure that they don't have candy in them as well. |
Lauren's Easter dress. Carson seemed to sleep or eat while we were there. Life for him is good! |
Zeke went to the air show. I was sorry that I had to miss it as there were too many loud plains for the kiddos to be exposed to. Maybe next year. |
Also I have been trying my hand at making a Rainbow Fish crib set so far so good I think!
Miss you all, Zeke, Mylinda, Lauren, and Carson Ellis |
