Well it is me again I don't know what has come over me but I feel the need to post another letter. I guess it is because I am still missing everyone from our resent visit and feel the need to share what is happening here. This photo makes me laugh. Zeke and Carson look a lot alike and they are even sharing the same expression.

For those who know me know that I feel our cat is somewhat of a jerk. That being said, I feel that I should share this rare photo of her being somewhat cute and cuddly. This is how I found Carson this morning. However it should also be stated that while the cat is cuddling with Carson, I know she did it more because she knows that I do not approve and HATE it when I have to pick cat hair out of his mouth.

So Mia is an inspiring person so much so that upon seeing her "Summer photos" of the little ones I decided that I should take some photos of the kids. It is hot and muggy here but I thought that if we did it first thing in the morning it would not be bad at all. Well my kids are early risers and so the weather was not the problem. For those of you who have ever tried to capture the cuteness of kids knows that it takes no less then 30 photos to get at least one or two "good" ones.

This photo session was no different. If you look at Carson's eye brows I believe they say exactly what he was feeling.

Now when one starts taking photos of little kids it is learned quickly that if there is a cute photo one will have to be quick with the button to capture it. Some photos are slanted...

Some are straight and set so well that you can even see the photographer in the child's eye.

The photographer might even try doing some props. I asked Lauren to play with the grass... Okay that did not work.

I asked her to look up to see if there were any airplanes in the sky. With that came the finger in the mouth okay... I will try something else.

I asked Lauren to just look at me and smile. Okay so she does not fully understand smile.

Next I tried to get Lauren to look at Carson as she likes him surely that would make her smile. Again it failed.

You can tell that at this point we were both frustrated!

I took a step back and let her do her own thing and I would take the photos as I saw fit... Well this is not to bad, it could work after all.

Ta-Da! I got it the best photo of the bunch. Yeah we did it and we both survived.

So out of the 58 taken there were a handful of good ones. Not too bad, and it cost me little to nothing to do. SCORE! Here she figured out what smile meant, totally forced but still cute.

Infants are easier to capture, all you need is some sound effects and some patients.

Of course I'm somewhat bias as they are my children but I think at the end of it all it was a good day!

On side note we were in the grocery store and there was this lady who was wearing a pair of short shorts and a bikini top. Lauren yells "No, No!" when I inquire why she was yelling, she pointed to the girl and said loudly "Naked, Naked, no no." Okay I will not lie this was the first time that I was truly thankful that Lauren sounds like she speaks Swahili and the lady could not understand her. Now that Lauren has an opinion she is always asking to wear this or that most of the time it is not suitable to wear where we are going. So when she saw this lady she was sure to point out that she is not allowed to wear her underwear out in public. And this lady, to Lauren's way of thinking, was doing exactly that!

Love ya,
Zeke, Mylinda, Lauren, and Carson Ellis
