HI there! How is everyone doing? Good....I'm glad to hear it. So things here in Tulsa have been humming right along. Lauren is a couple days shy of being 5 months old and we are very excited for her. She can roll to her tummy but some times needs help to get back over to her back.

She is currently in Day care but that adventure will end on the 14th of this month and I can't say that it isn't a day to soon. She is growing like a weed and I look at her and wonder when it was exactly that she got bigger, because it just happens over night.

In other news Zeke was offered a position as a teacher at Spartan College of Aeronautics and will start on the 18 of Aug 2008. Which works out well, he was able to give his two week notice and take a week off to go on her yearly bike trip. He is headed back up to CO to visit his buddy there.

As for me I have been blackberry picking, and being the dutiful mother that I am I thought that since Lauren isn't allowed to have bug spray on her I would not spray me when I went out. Well that was a mistake! I was eaten alive! But the event was not enough to make me not go out the following weekend to pick again.   :-)  I went and picked berries with a friend in Claremore (about 1 hour North from Tulsa). She lives out on a dirt road and the people around her have cows, out in the pastures black berries grow naturally so out we go. The people don't mind us doing it; oddly enough they feel that the berries are not worth the cuts and scraps to get them.

So Dad in his infanite wisdom had all our hair cut short and I have often thought about that but I have finally captured a picture of why he was wise enough to do that. This is the vacuum before cleaning my house.

This is a picture of all the hair I cut off the roller after I vacuumed. Note this is one weeks worth of hair. GROSS I know! So while long hair is lovely it isn't all that it is cracked up to be.

Love ya,

Zeke, Mylinda and Lauren
