On October 7th we took a trip back to Lake Roosevelt. This was the last boat trip of the season. AJ & Brittney also came with us on this trip. We didn't leave very early as it was 40 degrees when we were departing around 6:00. |

The lake was empty of other people. Not many other boats, but the ones we did see were mainly fishing. When we launched the water was pretty choppy. We tried to play around, but it was difficult due to the waves. We eventually found a cove that was calmer and played around in it for hours. Eventually the clouds cleared, and the water calmed and the entire lake was like glass. |

We pulled out of the lake around 4:00. It was a long day, but due to the nice weather we kept going and going. Rachel was coerced into riding the raft the last time we were at the lake and she enjoyed it as well. This time we got Landen to go on the raft and he is now starting to enjoy it as well. Ethen didn't join us on this trip. |

Serra wasn't her confident self on this trip. She wanted someone to hold her the entire time she was in the water, but she did want to be in the water. She also rode the raft, and was on it with Terra, Brittney & Hudson when it flipped - due to the choppy water. They all came out of it without too much trauma. |

Alan is slowing down while riding the raft. The first time he came with us he wanted it to go as fast as possible. This time he was happy to go at a slower pace than the older kids wanted to go. He still loved the water, but has tempered since his first trip.

On the way to the lake, we went through Safford to stop by Ethen's house and give him something. On the way home we went through Tucson and stopped at Mama's Famous Pizza. The kids like this place due to the 24" pizzas. They mostly slept on the way home. They were all out before we hit Globe and didn't wake up until Tucson. After dinner most of them went back to sleep for the trip to Benson. It was a fun trip. The water was warm, and the weather cool (highs in the 80s). |
