Kyle Leaving for the Missionary Training Center
Before Kyle flew out, he managed to get the jeep painted. He loves to work on cars, and was able to finish the paint and reassembly the week before his departure. He had to then drive it around town to enjoy the fruits of his labors.
Here Rachel and Kyle are delivering 3 different cakes they made for 3 different people in the ward. This was Sunday evening prior to Kyle's departure. Can't you just see the smile on his face? |

The night before he left was AJ's birthday. We celebrated with some cheesecake that Terra made. It was wonderful. AJ mentioned that 17 years ago almost to the day AJ also went into the missionary training center.
The night before Kyle flew out, he wanted to make dinner for AJ. It had to be something that AJ wanted, so he ended up smoking some shotgun shells, and some smoked stuffed jalepno peppers wrapped with bacon. He could have been packing, but this was his priority. The dinner was wonderful. Packing kept us up later than we would have liked, and then after a short night we were off. |

He had a 7:00 flight. That meant boarding at 6:30, so being at the airport at 5:30 so leaving at 4:30 and getting up at 4:00 am.
We all went to see him off. Even Ethen & Breanna joined us at the airport as we got him checked in and pointed him through security. |
