This letter is going to be short on text, and long on pictures. Here is the cement being poured in the back yard. |
Cement being poured in the garage to level the slopped floor. |
This is finishing the concrete in the garage. |
After the concrete was poured, the exterior walls went up. |
Then
the sheeting went on the walls. After that, the porch was put
over the remaining concrete. Here the roof was also started such
that the addition was dry. |
Interior walls with the plumbing and electrical in. |
This is how the house sits today. The styrophoam is on the OSB in preparation for the stucco. |
The garage door has been removed, and the hole filled in. It is also prepped for stucco. |
The laundry room has been torn up and holes cut in walls for future doors and walk ways. |
Not so close-up shot. |
This
is the interior of the garage. It will be similar to the extra
room we had in Arkansas. Large window with two closets on either
side. This house lacked storage and this addition will fix that
issue. |
Here
is a view into the laundry room and water heater closet. The
holes in the walls also allow a view into the rest of the house as well. |
Another shot of the interior of the garage with tracks cut to run electrical. |
And
one last shot of the kitchen from the garage. The house will
probabaly be like this for the next few weeks until the walls return
again. Living in a construction zone is always so much fun. |
