Rachel's Eighth Grade Promotion

Rachel has had an incredible 9 years at Pomerene School. She began Kindergarten there and has been there through out her Eighth grade year. It has been her home away from home. She will be going to High School next year. She has two options. One is Benson, which older boys have been to. The other is Saint David. Kyle is leaning to go there next year and Rachel is trying to decide which is the best place for her to go. The majority of her friends are going to Benson. which makes the decision harder

The class had an eight grade trip to Phoenix. They went to an arcade called "Amazing Jakes" and went to a mall. It doesn't sound like much fun but she came away having a blast. Anyone that knows Rachel knows she does not like dresses. That is why I though it was exceptionally cute that she requested this dress. We ordered on line and she wore it with a cute pair of long boots. She looked so stunning that night and easily stole the show! She even had a beautiful bracelet and earrings to accompany. /td>

Ethen came down and visited to see Rachel go through the ceremony. The morning of her Eighth Grade Promotion they and an eighth grade breakfast. Rachel could invite two guests. Nathen had to work that morning so Ethen came down to go with Rachel and I. It was a great stroll down memory lane for Ethen and it meant a lot to Rachel. The class was very close and they shared multiple memories and thank yours to all their fellow classmates and to the school and parents.

I loved the small school! Here is a list of those in her class. Back Row: Nicole, Jayci, Bella, Rachel, Ellie Front Row: Nolan, Aaron, Adian, Adrian, James

Rachel loves playing sports. Her favorite this year were Volleyball and Basketball. She had some great coaches. Last year the Basketball coach loved Rachel, a new coach this year coached the girls team and her old coach coached the boys team. IT was fun to see her old coach come to each of her games and cheer Rachel on. Rachel did not like dribbling. She is very aggressive nd would steal the ball and then quickly pass it. When she wold take the ball and dribble down the court her old coach came unglued on the sidelines cheering Rachel on. It was so cool to see. The above picture of is of Rachel and her old coach. Rachel was given the Most Valuable Player Award for the entire season. So cool! I hope she continues to do sports in High School.

Rachel has excelled at school. She got straight A's each year in school from K-8th. She never got anything other than an A are her report card. This last year, she was close for valedicgorian. But this year she focused more on friendships and sports. She still got all A's. I admire her grit.'''

I also admire the way she lives life. She reminds of her daddy and a bit of what I have read about Diane.
