Well a week has come and gone since our last posting of pictures.  I will put up some more, and will forgo the captions, as they are all pretty self-explanatory.  As far as health is concerned, not much has happened.  Terre and Kyle have made it home and both are doing well.  However, life has seemed to progress on.  It seems like my life has an interesting twist to it.  Every time I seem to have a little extra time on my hands (for whatever reason) there is always something that comes up to fill the newly found void.  This last week has held some excitement for me.  Let me give you the story.  Terre went into the hospital on a Wednesday.  I worked Thursday and took Friday off to go and visit her.  On Friday as I was watching the apartments, I received a letter from the University of Arizona stating that my financial aid had been canceled, for one or more of the following reasons, and then they listed about 10.  After calling the school (and being on hold for 45 minutes) I spoke to someone who told me that it was due to the fact that I had received too many credits, and I would have to file an appeal.  So then I proceeded to type up my appeal and reasons why it should be reinstated.  Then once that was finished, I went and visited Terre.  Now, for reasons of length, I will dispense with Terre’s fun week, except for telling you that she went in on Wednesday for early labor, it was attempted to stop it, and then due to other complications, she had another C-section on Sunday and then came home on that next Wednesday.  So after she had delivered on Sunday, I decided that I should take Monday off and then could get all of the paper work situated and she could get her rest.  When I returned to work on Tuesday, I was there about two hours when the owner of the company made a decision that they could save money if they were to cut all of the contract workers, and just retain the salaried employees.  Well this included me, and my position was eliminated.  Now jobless and with an abundance of time on my hands, I decided to go back and visit Terre at the hospital.  I made it over there without any trouble and all was well, until I tried to leave for home that evening.  I got in the Bronco, and low and behold the Bronco knew that I had some extra time and decided that it needed some of my attention so it refused start.  I went back up stairs and Karren was working that night so I borrowed her car and went home, to deal with the Bronco in the daylight.  Two days and countless trips across town later I managed to replace the Park/Neutral switch which seemed to satisfy the need the Bronco had for my time at this moment, and it became happy and decided to run once more.  I seem to have proved the age-old adage that you can have either money or time but not both, once again.  On Saturday, we held a birthday party for Ethen.  Our original plan was to have the birthday party for him on the 13th of August so that it wouldn’t interfere with the new arrival of Kyle (due to arrive 9-5-05) and we would have ample time to devote to the party.  The party came off without a hitch.  Almost everyone who attended seemed to have a good time.  Then once all 37 people left our home on Saturday, I finally had time to sit down and prepare a talk that I had to give on Sunday.  The high council member for our ward invited me to speak with him in different ward; even with my eventful week I wasn’t able to dodge the responsibility.  Terre came to listen and said I did well; I will have to take her word for it.  I am just glad the week is finally over and all is well.
