Dear Family and Friends,
Well let's see here what's new in Braxton and Sabrina Herring's life (wow I still love saying that!). As many of you may know Braxton and I have several pets. Three of which are bunny rabbits. They lived in a terrarium (Rufus's old home) on the bookcase which worked quite well until they started to grow, time for a new home. Braxton and I started construction on a rabbit home that would sit outside are back door. It is about 4 feet wide and 10 long. It turned out perfectly, after only about 20 trips to the home depot. It turned out so nice in fact that the dogs (Keyda in particular) won't stay off it. Now the dogs jumping on top of it would not be a problem except for the fact that the roof is made almost entirely of chicken wire, and when a dog jumps up the roof goes down rendering the purpose, of keeping dogs out and rabbits in, no good. So after much yelling, chasing, and rearranging I think we are finally in business. Our rabbits moved in and all seems to be going well. We do not yet have a hutch for them so they still come in every night, but hopefully soon they will live there permanently.

As some of you already know Braxton and I have been called to be the Ward Road Show Specialists. Now you may or may not know what a road show is, B and I had not heard of them until we were asked to do one. We performed the 19th (of March) at the Tucson Stake Center and the Saguarita Ward Building. Our skit is entitled "The Story of The Starving Chickens." The theme this year is A Marvelous Work and Wonder. It was a wonderful experience and I (I can't speak for Braxton) will miss doing it. It was a lot of work but a memorable experience.

Of our cast of 15, 6 decided that three days before performance would be a good time to let me know that they would be out of town on the 19th. So with a lot of shuffling begging and mad practicing we were able to get a cast of 8 together. Add Braxton and I to the show (we originally were not in it) and we were ready to perform. I am very impressed with the youth of our ward. Almost all of them got there (new) part on Monday and preformed (almost perfectly) on Friday. If you missed it then you missed out : ) .

Also Braxton and I talked in church this past Sunday (13th), between my new job, B's school, and the road show we are not sure when we were to prepare our talks. We each have to fill 15 min. Our topic was on the three fold mission of the church and I must say our talks went rather well. Church starts at 9:30 but did not end till 10:45 (no Braxton and I did not talk too long) Braxton talked last and sat down at 10:25 but then, thinking we should have taken longer, the bishop got up and talked for another 10 min. With the two closing hymns we have we were not done until 10:45. All in all it was a wonderful experience. I never thought I would say I enjoyed talking in church and do look forward to doing it again but I did and I do. Braxton might have a different story however.
I decided to leave TFCU after almost 6 years and stated a new job on Feb 14th 2005 and am finding it difficult to suddenly be the guy who knows nothing opposed to the one with all the answers. It's been hard to adjust but I am finding that the pay is not bad, and for the right pay I can put up with about anything.
The work atmosphere is very nice, I wear jeans and tees and show up anywhere between 8 and 9 in the morning. Also I leave when I am done. It is not a salary job but is treated as such. I am learning to like it. There are 6 other employees and then our boss for a total of 8 people in the office (company). The grounds are very pretty and quite. In fact the building to which we are adjacent, used to be a restaurant (it is now the Mountain Oyster Club). This is the restaurant that my date took me to for my first year of prom, valet parking and all. I ordered the cheapest (the only eatable thing in my option) on the menu and it was $28.00. My office is upstairs right behind the bosses (the bosses office is the windows with the mini balcony on them -- top left)
B and I have purchased a digital camera and are happy to report we are very happy with it. All these fine, fine photos were taken with it (except the last one). It was quite a hassle to get however. At the TFCU holiday party this last year B and I won a $100.00 gift certificate to Best Buy, so with certificate in one hand and tax return in the other we were off to Best Buy. Once arriving we found that unless you plan to spend upwards of $700.00 (which we did not) you were doomed to have a camera that was two inches by one, and silver on top of that. Well seeing as I refuse to own a camera that I can't hold firmly in my hand or one that is silver in color, we were not real excited with our prospects. We did find however this one camera, a Fuji S5100. It was not bad (not what I wanted but nice) Braxton was excited about it so okay we are here, it is the only semi acceptable camera, it is black, lets do it. No luck! This camera is not in stock, but come back Tuesday we will be getting one in then.
Well once leaving the store (we were of course very disappointed as we wanted to run out and take photos) we decided to look on line and see if we could not find a better deal as well as one we could get before Tuesday it now being Saturday. We hopped on line and in no time at all found a camera in stock for $100.00 less with two day shipping. So we ordered it and the next day we got an e-mail asking us to confirm our order, well at this we were a little wary as we were hoping our camera was already in the mail, so we called. Well it turns out that the accessories (like shoulder strap, lens cap, warranty) that come with the camera are really a package you can buy extra for $50.00, and the in stock means that their warehouse in India (or wherever) has it in stock and two day shipping means when they get it from there warehouse in India (or wherever) in 6-8 weeks they will two day ship it to us and would I like to upgrade to overnight for another $20.00. So needless to say we were little upset. So after one or two more orders and phone calls like that we went back to Best Buy it being Tuesday so our camera should be in. Well it turns out they have no idea what is on the truck and it comes in Tuesday at about midnight so I should come back Thursday and check, or they can order it special order it for me with 3-5 day shipping (because as you know all Fuji S5100 are kept in India or wherever). Well B and I are just about going crazy. We looked around a bit more and found the only Fuji S5100 in the continental United States, it really had everything included and IN STOCK. So we ordered it and were supposed to receive it Thursday the 10th, however once again no camera, we call no answer then on Friday we receive notice that the camera we ordered on the 8th with over night delivery was being shipped out on the 11th (Friday) and would be here until Monday as they don't ship on Saturdays. We call, we go on line, but no one is around to talk to us. We send an e-mail explaining just how upset we are and so forth. On Monday the camera arrives and we receive an e-mail saying that our shipping charges will be refunded. So all in all we got a good deal on the camera but what an ordeal to get it.
Braxton had Jury Duty on the 17th, but it was moved to the 22nd. Although I do not see him being picked for a jury due to his opinionated nature, we will see. I hope that all is well and that we are able to visit real soon.

Love Braxton and Sabrina Herring
