Pizza
Dough:
- 1 cups water
- ½ t dry yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- ½ t salt
- ¼ cup oil
- approx. 3 cups flour
- ¼ cup dry powdered milk (optional)
Warm the water to body temperature. Add the yeast, salt, and sugar and swirl to mix. Add the oil, six cups of flour and powered milk. Mix with a spoon. Knead in the rest of the flour (as needed) to make a soft dough. Let rise approx. 10 minutes, and spread on a oiled sheet pan. For a crunchy crust, bake the dough for 15 minutes @ 325 prior to adding the sauce.
Sauce:
- 1 can tomato sauce
- ½ Tablespoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1½ teapoons italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoon rubbed sage
Combine the ingredients and stir to mix.
Toppings:
- Yellow cheese
- white cheese
- pepperoni
- olives
- onions
- bell peppers
- bacon
- sausage
Bake in a moderate oven (325°F) for 30 minutes, or until the crust is done and the cheese melted.
